social animals.
Convincing parents
Convincing our bf/gfs
Convincing spouse and children
Convincing superiors, peers and subordinates at workplace
Convincing customers, suppliers and sellers
Convincing Governments-- local, State and Federal
Convincing readers, critics.
Because we want
peace of mind
money
name and prestige
avoid becoming unpopular and being labelled "adament"
becoming incommunicado.
I always feel that if we minimise our wants to nearly absurd low levels, we can eliminate the unpleasant convincing work. The task of convincing arise only because we want somebody else to do our bidding.
But, is convincing really not enjoyable?
