computer as such have many functions and typing is one of them though you need to use a typewriter sometimes as it does not consume any power and also for some documents which is momre convenient to do with a typewritter.

We too still have some forms that are just easier on a typewriter but not very many indeed. The bank that I worked on, our department had 2 typewriters and only 1 really worked anymore. But eventually I think they will finally figure out how to get it all to work on just the computer!

Same in our office, there are documents that cant just be feed into printer for its data entry. So still the typewriter does the job only slower thank computer can do. But I believe the future will give the computer all the task in clerical works automatically and will not need the typewriter anymore. Someway computer programmers will figure it out.

I never had a type writer. I only use one in school in typing class. Very passed lol. I never owned a computer until 3 years ago. I love it! In typing class the only thing I really got accomplished was writing letters to my friends lol.
