Do you mark the "best response", or think that's 'unfair'?

I've only been part of myLot for a short time, so I'm still 'learning the ropes'. I've been hesitant to click on anyone's comments as being "best response", and I'm wondering how others feel about that. Is it 'fair' to pick a 'best response'? What if another BETTER one comes in later? Can it be changed? Do other contributors see which one has been chosen as 'best'? If so, how will those who were not chosen feel about it? Comments?

Hello w1z111.... Once you choose a best response it cannot be changed but it is best to wait a few days, a week or more sometimes before you chose one. Having best responses will increase your earnings. Not choosing best responses will leave you with unresolved discussions. Everyone knows that you can only choose one. It encourages people to think about what they will write in order to leave a response of substance, not just incoherent garbage. Tom

As a relative newbie and one without a high score or rating number, I don't come here to salve my ego, nor am I offended if not chosen Best or given a rating. I also don't want to offend others. I do however feel that anyone who posts a discussion should read every contribution, perhaps rathe those that are valid, and yes, choose one that seems to fit most closely with the question posed or the general context of the post. I think it's a sign of disrespect to disregard anyone who actually takes the time to submit a response. Obviously we all have different reasons for being here, and yet to be in this "community" should be suggestive of respect, decency, and even in a point disagreed with, some Tact in how we respond or rate others is what we should consider.

I think you make great points, Tin Wolf! Especially about reading all the posts in a discussion. I'm also quite new to myLot, and I've found I'm not always reading everything (takes time, man!). But, I learned a little lesson in one discussion, so now I tend to slow down a little. Thx for the comments.

TY/TY/TY! I've found myLot to be loads of fun, if nothing else! Opportunity to share ideas, meet people from all over the world, and even make a few cents to boot! I'm still learning about how the $$ is made, and know I need to post more pics...just a bit slow at getting in the habit of that...but thx for the reminder. I'll work on that! TaTa!

i always mark a best response if atleast there r 5 responses in the discussion. never hesitate to do so, because if anyone deserves a best response, u should give him that because i think that will help in his earning n also it will increase ur reputation as a person who always rates the responses. so people will give more responses to ur discussions
