Definitely. I've always found males more easy to be friends with than females for some reason. I've had a bloke be a best friend for nearly 10 years now and I've never been attracted to him. He's like my brother and my partner likes him and isn't threatened by our closeness.

I've set him up with girls before! No I wouldn't be jealous. I don't find him attractive in the least.

Yes such friendships goes better than love affairs. I have many friends (opposite gender)but we are just friends and very good friends without any love relationships.

in high school everybody would have considered me to be a tomboy because I hung out with most guys I had this really good friend and he was like a brother to me and then I had this guy that I went out with for a little while but we realized we was meant to be friends and that was cool also
