where should sachin bat in worldcup2007?????????????

sachin is a versatile player he can bat according to the situation so i think the best place for him to bat at will be 1 down and he has a good record at that position

The team management has decided that Sachin is needed at No. 4. I think they should not disturb this any more. No more experiments. From the first match of the group stage, everything should take a settled look.

I also think that 1 down is his place when the opening gives 60-70 runs and bats for 10-12 overs otherwise we must have Dravid coming in because he can stabilize the batting by not giving away his wicket. Opening is not his slot right now because he can perform much better batting at 1 down or 2 down.

Sachin is a good player but if he is given chance in 1-3 down to play then he will prove his performance But not in the last 5-6 .if he gets in last he could not prove ..

Well sachin should open the innings along with sourav as they form the best opening pair in history of one day cricket as they have won matches for India by putting matchwinning opening partnerships. Beides sachin has played for most of life as opener, scoring most hundreds & runs at this position and is very comfortable at opening the innings. But Sachin is such a gifted and great player that he can bat at any position and so he is now batting at middle order with success in the team's interests.

i think he shud bat on 1 down then he will not have to open but he shud not came much late then that will affect indian opening i think 1 down will be the right decision deep
