For some reason I have had a rhyme stuck in my head that I've learned in grade school for music class. It's called There Was an Old Lady. Have you heard of it? If not this is how it goes: There was an old lady who swallowed a fly I don't know why she swallowed a fly-perhaps she'll die! There was an old lady who swallowed a spider, That wiggled and wiggled and tiggeled inside her; She swallowed the spider to catch the fly; I don't know why she swallowed a fly- perhaps she'll die! There was an old lady who swallowed a bird; How absurd to swallow a bird! She swallowed the bird to catch the spider. She swallowed the spider to catch the fly; I don't know why she swallowed a fly-perhaps she'll die! There was an old lady who swallowed a cat; Fancy that to swallow a cat! She swallowed the cat to catch the bird. She swallowed the bird to catch the spider. She swallowed the spider to catch the fly; I don't know why she swallowed the fly-perhaps she'll die! There was an old lady who swallowed a dog; What a hog to swallow a dog! She swallowed the dog to catch the cat. She swallowed the cat to catch the bird. She swallowed the bird to catch the spider. She swallowed the spider to catch the fly. I don't know why she swallowed a fly-pehpas she'll die! There was an old lady who swallowed a cow; I don't know how she swallowed a cow. She swallowed the cow to catch the dog. She swallowed the dog to cath the cat. She swallowed the cat to catch the bird. She swallowed the bird to catch the spider. She swallowed the spider to catch the fly. I don't know why she swallowed a fly-pehaps she'll die! There was an old lady who swallowed a horse; She's dead, of course! Haha. Kind of weird. DO you remember singing any of these rhymes? Please share!

I'm glad I could remind you of this song. It's fun to sing but now that I think of the lyrics...its rather strange. =) But little kids love to rhyme, so it's a good one for children. I also beleieve there was a song that went something like, blue bird blue bird on my window...or something like that. I'll search for the lyrics.

Well, I found it and its not nearly as excited as I remember, but this is how it goes: Bluebird Bluebird through my window. Bluebird Bluebird through my window. Bluebird Bluebird through my window. Oh Johnny, I'm so tired. hmm....definately not as exciting as it used to be. =D
