International Woman's Day- inspirational thoughts thread

"Celebrated on 8 March, International Women's Day (IWD) is the global day connecting all women around the world and inspiring them to achieve their full potential" (from the website for IWD)
Many women today take their relative freedoms for granted, forgettig that only a few generations ago the suffragettes were fighting to get us the vote. In some countries women still do not have equal rights with their male couterparts, making it even more important that we celebrate our achievements, potential, dreams, hopes and aspirations.
So ladies, why not join me in celebrating being our wonderful selves and share what inspires you most in life and why its great being a woman!

I remember when I was a young teen. I hated being a female. Now I love it. We as women are so talented. We can multitask better than men. We can give life.
My husband is my inspiration. He makes me want to be a better person. He is my best friend and I want to spend Eternity with him. I am glad that I am a woman.

Thats lovely, I'm very lucky in my husband too, he understands everything I hold precious and is always willing to let me be myself.

Isnt it just, we all do so much and have such busy lives, its important to take stock of how we got where we are today.
