What can I do to help my hubby pay the bills

Ok. My hubby works full time. I can't because my son is special needs and we can't afford daycare for three kids. I do not have a car. I feel so bad for my hubby . He tries so hard to provide for us but we always run out of money before the nex pay check. We don't go out to eat, we don't buy clothes unless we abolutely need them, we have a budget and try not to go over the budget but stuff like illnesses, things going on a school put us over. I want to help him by putting a little bit in the bank every month. And I don't want to have to spend money to make money. This is one reason i joined my lot! I enjoy it! But it's not enough.

Have you ever considered employment form home as a virtual assistant? I see by your profile that you have worked in a doctors office and a law office, too... so you must have administrative skills... you can put them to work for your family. Here is the link to a company that is hiring VA's http://www.keyofficeassistant.com/id63.html I also suggest that you check out the state and federal government's website for possible jobs, that you can do from home for them... I'm thinking maybe the IRS, you know, with tax season coming and all, you might be able to grab on to something there... I really with you and yours the very best... It's so honorable for you to want to help your family, you must be a fine woman from the inside out and your hubby has a lot to be proud of... May Joy Abundance and Peace move into your lives and never leave... Blessed Be!

I'm not sure if you have checked into it or not, but a lot of us on mylot also write for a site called associatedcontent.com They pay for articles that are well-written. Each article doesn't pay a lot, but it is more than mylot. And, with your special needs child you probably have lots of material...even if you just wrote articles about things you have faced with him, you would probably do very well. AC is not a referral site like mylot...you don't get paid for referrals or a percentage of their work or whatever, but they do pay via paypal and they pay within a week of the time your article is published...so usually about 2 weeks after it is submitted (It almost always takes at least a week to get it approved.) Good luck!

Things I have seen people do to save money is on-line surveys and market research for companies like Pinecone. You can also sign up to be a secret shopper - you get to keep what you buy and you get paid for your time. None of those things pays a huge amount, but it will add a few pennies to your budget.

I am in a similar situation as well. I do not have a special needs child but I do have a 3 year old that we cannot afford to put in preschool or daycare. I also have an 8 year old in school. I do not have a car anymore either and am looking for a way to make money from home to at least bring in a little bit of extra money. That is actually how I found this site. Good luck to you and let me know if anything pans out for ya.

Why don't you try selling things at ebay? You can go around at garage sales in your area where you can just walk around...there are things in there you can actually sell. Check on craigslist.com..there are plenty of telecommuting jobs. But it really depends on what area do you live in. Everything will better soon, just hang in there and I admire you for thinking of your husband.

I've been down that road looking for what I could do at home that was free so many times and the only thing I tried that worked was mylot and ebay (that didn't take some sort of an investment). I did surveys and reading emails and all kinds of things. I suggest you just seriously go to work on mylot and get some referrals going. Stay at home mom's like yourself and that sort of thing. They you could sell old things around your house that you aren't using on ebay for a few dollars. I make baby blankets and quilts that I sell on ebay. The most important way I have found to make money is by saving money. I'm always saving us so much money by calling around to get the best price for everything. Have you checked into the rates you can get with other auto insurance companies lately? I just did and saved us $200 a year. Then there is checking with companies on phone and internet services. Do you rent vidios? Your local library may have what you are looking for. I use to rent movies every week and spend at least $6 a week and now I just go to the library and get them all for free and can keep them for up to a week. Clip coupons. Check on your television network fees and see what has the best price for your money or even go without for a while. Then with health insurance I would be sure to check with your state to see if you are eligible for assistance based on your income. I live in New York and they are great about that if you don't make much money you can get cheap to no cost health insurance. Shop smart for groceries, have you got an Aldi's in your area? Conserve electricity. You would be amazed at how much you save and that is just as good as putting money in the bank. Write it down every time you have saved money and see the difference.

UGH i wish we had Aldi's we just moved from a town that had it. It was a life saver. But i have joined a coupon club where we share good deals and swap coupons so that has helped. And i have been able to get formula pretty much for free with the coupons the manufacturers send. So that helps. I'm workin on getting my kids on Medicaid since we are paying $1K a month out of hubby's check for all of us to be insured. If we are approved that will be an extra $500.00 a month. So we have cut out things that we don't need. But we have to have internet for hubby's job. We have digital phones which has helped with the utilites. So i'm trying to do all the right things. Thanks so much for your advice Missy. I do love MyLot a bunch!

It's tough feeling like you aren't contributing. I feel so bad for my husband . He tries so hard to provide for his family. I'm sure that is the way most men feel . That they try their best and their best isn't making ends meet.

finding spots like mylot help, however, there is the idea of putting stuff up on ebay for sale. buy something at a thrift store, then put it on ebay at the exact price you find it, and people will bid on it. just an idea.

One thing you could do is get a free autoresponder account at getresponse.com or freeautobot.com and start a newsletter. Just make a page at a free webbuilding site like freewebs and put your form code there so people can sign up. Send them a message once a week about things you find to do online and get referrals. Run your page in a few traffic exchanges until you have a nice database of readers and once you do, you'll be making money when they buy products. If you write about a certain niche like gardening or anything else that will interest a specific group of people you'll be surprised how many will buy products from you.

You could take in some at home jobs like ironing, music lessons or day care. If you write you might search the internet for places you can submit articles for pay or offer to grade papers for teachers at school. Think creatively. Have a garage sale or sell on ebay.

Sorry about that. It hard when you have little ones. The best thing I know to do is to ask the Lord to help you find a way. That's what I do and everything usually works out alright. Not always the way I think I want it, but ok.

I earn a little extra by doing the following: 1 - Key For Cash -- You type in what appears on the screen (data entry). There is no cost and payments are made every week. You have to earn $50 per week in order to get paid but, if you don't, your earnings are carried over to the next week. 2 - My Survey -- They send you surveys and you get points for each one you answer or for each referral. If you refer someone and they join, that is an additional 150 points. If you would like to be referred, I will be glad to do so. No cost to join. After 1000 points, you earn $10. Not much but it helps. 3 -- Pinecone Research -- Again, this is a survey. They send you surveys that you respond to. Each one completed earns you $5 and checks are mailed out right away. It usually takes about 3 days for me to get paid. Sometimes I do 4-5 in a month, other times it's lower. Hope this helps.

There are ways that you can helpyour hubby pay those bills. You're doing one of them. Mylot has already paid me three times now, so far I'm getting $10 a month, it's not enough and I'm not even online most of the times, but if your in the Philippines and $10 can already pay for water bills. I also write articles that pays me around $3 per article I submitted. There are also other forums like this which also pays. You can send me a message regarding that forum I'm saying. I don't want to post my referral link here because we all know its against mylot rules right. So if you're interested you can send me a message and I'll send you the link.Goodluck.

I found and made sure the work online sites in my website are legit. Look them over and see what you like. I work for Alpine Access as a Customer Service online agent and do Cashcrate with Mylot. Between the 3 I make $525.00 extra a month and could do more if I put more hours in if I like. http://www.BasimahsBountifuls.com

It sounds like you and I are in similar situations. I too have a special needs son, I don't have a car, and I first joined mylot because of the fact that it's a paying site. And I certainly don't want to spend money to make money. Does your husband have a car? And if so, do you know how to drive it? I'm only asking because if you and your husband are in agreement, you could use it to get to and from work after he gets home, even if it's only for a part time job. I've discussed this part-time work thing with my husband. He's willing, though he doesn't think it is necessary for me to get a paying job for the time being.

You can always try to make some money online. Your already off to a great start using mylot. There are some places online that are legit, but be careful, a lot of them are scams. If it sounds too good to be true, thats because it isn't true. Anybody wanting money for you to make money are scammers. I wish you the best luck on finding something to do. I know how it feels to be low on the funds.
