Is Your Baby Always Loosing Their Pacifier

I remember when I was raising babies. My oldest baby never had a pacifier. When my youngest came along, I found that I was having milk fever alot. I went to the Doctor and the Doctor said that my baby had a stong sucking instinct and a pacifier would help. So we purchased one pacifer. The baby started crawling and we could not keep up with that pacifier to save our soul Pretty soon we had several of them and still had trouble keeping them clean and keeping up with them. I found a pattern for this adorable little bib that has an elephant on the front and the trunk of the elephant is used to hold the pacifier. This crochet pattern could easily be adapted to be knitted or even sewn from material. I wish I had one of these back when I was raising my babies. You can find this pattern at this link: http://crochetcafepatterns.blogspot.com/2005/04/elephant-pacifier-bib.html

that is soooo cute! thank you for sharing this pattern with us. I don't have any babes right now, but, friends are always having them - this would be a good gift to have made up ahead of time. Maybe several in different colors to be on the ready for a boy or girl.

I had my baby 30 years ago, and safety standards were not as stringent as they are today. I used to pin the pacifier to a piece of clothing but not anywhere where my son could strangle himself. It was usually to the pocket of his outfit or there abouts.

That is cute my nephew uses a pacifer but I am not sure if he would keep this bib on him or not. I mean he is up and walking and running He turned 1 in August. He's a cute boy.

I had a paci clip with my youngest, they are handy little things! Does the site have other things as well?

I always had pacifier problems, too. I also used to crochet a LOT! I plan to make one of these for the next baby that comes along in my family. Thank you!
