Do you think cats dream?

Ever watch a cat or kitten while their asleep? Besides some of them snoring, I've also noticed some that seem to be going thru something in their mind. They twitch, flick, groan, etc.
Wonder if they're dreaming?
I see it now...
There they are, in a palatial estate with maids and butlers, liesurely basking in the sun on the veranda near the kitty-pool...not a care in the world! zzzzzzzz
Know what I mean?

yeah they dream, REM and all that
probably dreaming of cat things
catnip, sunshine, chasing things, interesting smells, stinky cat food, a clean cat box, a warm place to rest, a massage
, good people who pet them and let them in and out

I think they dream too...sometimes mine looks like it's sort of running in it's dreams..they way it's little legs move...yes and mine snore too...lol

I don't know if they dream or not.. but i have seen my cat and it looks like he is running or his face moves like his wiskers....So i am thinking maybe he is dreaming that he is being chased.. maybe by a dog or another cat.. who knows..

Moomin definitely dreams, usually when she is curled up on my bed. She will twitch her whiskers and sometimes she snores too. I think she dreams of chasing mice :-)

Yes, I think cats dream. I have seen my cats have rapid eye movements. Sometimes they even have bad dreams. I've heard my cat cry out in their sleep. When they have bad dreams, I try to wake them up and tell them that I love them.
