Would you let your other half start looking for companionship? I mean think about it,if you're going to be gone soon...isn't it fair to them? They shouldn't have to be alone just 'cause you're gone, right?

Not sure where it is written that we cannot or should not live alone. In my case there are two kids and I am sure that they would keep him busy. Also he is a cute guy and if he wanted to he could find himself someone. Would be all up to him. Of course, I might have him spoiled with all these modern women, he likes to be home and have family time and putter about. None of us really galavant about to shows and fancy dinners etc. If I am gone though he is totally free to do as he sees fit.

I am pretty sure I'd expect him to wait till after I'm gone, I do have a good heart (I like to think so anyway) but I wouldn't be pushing my hubby into someone else's arms if I knew I was going to die soon. I'd like to think he'd also have enough love and respect for my feelings too not to think about moving on till after I'd passed on :) Once I was gone though, I would like to think he would be open to meeting someone else. x
