My toes are froze...

I don't know if I actually posted about it the other day or just thought of posting about it. I looked under discussions I've started and didn't see anything but I might have just chatted about it in a response. But when I went for a walk up the hill to meet up with a friend for a morning walk I saw CATERPILLERS!!! I was so excited. I know I got faked out by the worms before the last snowfall but caterpillers are a sure sign that spring is here! I'm so tired of winter. I want a nice spring day so I can walk down to the river with the kids and just enjoy the beauty of nature at its finest. That same night while having a girl's night coffee session, one of my best friends (an amatuer photographer) was telling me that she saw PUSSYWILLOWS!!! YAY!!When the kids got up and off to school this morning, the sun was peeking through some fluffy white clouds. It looked like it was going to be such a beautiful day. From my front door I've got a clear view of the skies over the channel where most of our weather comes from and it looked so clean and what clouds there were weren't nothing to worry about. I sit down and spend the morning cruising through here posting a few posts until my neighbour calls me over for a coffee. Without even thinking about it, I grab my phone (which is a REALY GOOD cordless and works at her house a block over) and pour myself a coffee on the way out the door and head over there. Noticed it was a bit cloudier but no big deal. My slippers worked fine. They are kind of like open toed heeled sandals but they are softer. Coming home just now, I'm walking through a snowstorm of golfball size snowflakes!! And lots of them. It's ridiculous. The ground is already completely covered with a couple inches of this big soft fluffy snow. When is winter going to go away?!!?!?!?
