Now don't laugh , well! laugh if you want , When I was all ready to go out this morning I noticed I had my pants( knickers) on outside in , I laughed told hubby and son , but did nothing about it as , I had no time to change and to be honest it didn't really bother me , I had an aunt that if she put even a jumper on the wrong way round or inside out then she would leave it that way all day , I could not have people laughing at me , I just couldn't I would just have to accept all the bad luck or whatever , I wont walk under a ladder and I throw spilt salt over my shoulder but I still don't think I am overly superstitious , would you have put your knickers ( pants) back on the correct way? or would you have ignored it like I did , a daft question for some , but others will take it seriously xx

I can't say I'm superstitious. When Friday 13th comes round it's actually a very lucky day for me, I received a big winfall on a Friday 13th in the past. I'm not worried about walking under ladders. I do, however, say 'aye aye captain' when I see one magpie that is supposively unlucky, and seeing two is lucky. I hate the horrid birds so seeing one is preferable than seeing two LOL! My mum used to say if I had put anything on the wrong way round to keep it that way it would be lucky as well! Also if a bird poops on you it's meant to be lucky, what for the bird for aiming well LOL x

The local birds must think my car is a karzi, either that or they are vindictive as whenever I clean my car they divebomb it afterwards...

I can't say I am particularly superstitious, but I am aware of what it means to see a black cat, walk under a ladder, break a mirror, spill salt, etc. I never heard of the clothes on wrong one though. I generally won't walk under a ladder for fear something will fall on my head or I'll head my head on the cross support!lol I've broken a few mirrors, and though I didn't have bad luck for seven years, the thought did cross my mind. Black cats don't bother me. Now if I am driving and see a Black Crow fly off to the right as I come up on it, I am more careful as I see that as a warning for danger ahead. Have you heard of that one?

Yes I am a bit.I'm predisposed to it cause my bloodlines being Dutch/german/french/scotch/native american. My German/french-canadian Granmama would start to cry if a dog howled at sunset or if she entered a room to see a empty rocking chair rocking. Both meaning someone was passing with the rocking chair meaning that someone was losin a child. My Ma was very influenced by her great Gran that was Scots. She would never kill a spider in the house in hopes that it might make it's web an the morning. If all the cows laid down she said it would rain.Cricket chirping in your house is good luck, the pantry must be full of food on the New Year or she was sure we would stave the next year...empty the new year empty all year..Da wouldn't walk under a ladder and would tell everyone not to bet on this horse because the owners had changed horses name when they bought him.If a bird flies in your window someone will die but you can counteract it by catching it and making it fly out backward(which means to literally throw it out the window backward)I could go on forever but I've bored you enough. Thanks Weeman for giving me a reason to muse on my passed loved ones R

A little respect for superstition doesn't hurt. I try never to walk under a ladder. I never schedule anything important on a calender date which says 13, whether Friday or not. If I drop a comb, I step on it before picking it up, HA HA, but my mother always did that, so I do it. I dont do the salt thing, but I respect you for doing it. Any outer clothing I would straighten to the right side, but underwear, I would not care. Is it bad luck to wear your underwear inside out or is the idea not to change it once you put it on inside out? I had never heard of this superstition as yet.

I would have put my pants on the right way. I once was out and about, I looked down. I had 2 different color shoes on, I had to walk around like tha all day, haha. They were the same kind of shoe, just one black and one blue.

Hi Weemam, you mean that you had your kickers inside out, yes this superstitious is in my country as well, but when I do this sometimes I change it to the right way around, it is supposed to bring you good luck. Yes I would have changed my knickers the right way but I have done this before and left them inside out. xx

hii, i am a superstitious guy , early morning when i get up i always search for two birds(special birds) and kiss my two fingers of my right hand and my whole day will be on good luck. I dont know why it happens but i find it really true. other some of my superstitious believes are like when utensils falls, when crow cries at the lawn of my house it tells me that guest will be comming to our house.

I think I probably would've put them back on the right way, simply because if I didn't it would aggravate me to no end for the rest of the day. I do the thing with throwing salt over my shoulder, but that's it. I won't walk under a ladder because, knowing my luck, it would fall on my head and give me a concussion. And I happen to own a black cat, so no worries there. And as for the magpies that Wolfie mentioned, no worries there either....the black cat tries to catch them for dinner! LOL

This made me laugh. If I had just put them on I would change, but if I discovered during the day I wouldn't bother. Is that bad luck? There you go ...you really do learn something everyday. So that's why all those yobbo blokes go around with their shirts inside out...they're superstitious...and here I was thinking they were too dumb to be able to dress themselves properly...roflmao.

This is more of a mind set. There is some thing of this nature prevailing in southern part of India If a cat passes your way while just coming out of your house, it is considered as a bad omen.If you stumble while just coming out of your house, it is advised that you come inside and have a cup of water before venturing out once again. To me it is more of lack of confidence in our own self and more off shoot of pessimism

I ignore this superstitious behavior, beacuse I don't know its meaning, but around of me there are amlot of supersticious persons. My sisters says that if somene put sweep with broom on your feet, you will not go married. My mother doesn't accept that I shake the tablecloth in the evening,sgìhe says it's not a good thing and it takes plight. When I bought a car my father put in a clove of garlic to expel evil eye.
