62 cents to go

Why is it that when you get so close to reaching a payout, the paid emails seem to slow down to a crawl? I'm now only 62 cents away from payout on a site I've been using for some time. Now I'm eagerly waiting for the next email. Still waiting.... no emails yet... Still waiting...
I'm starting to feel like the mervyn's commercial with the lady saying "open, open, open" while she waits for the store to open. LOL
Do you ever feel the same way when you're close to a minimum payout?

:D It does take some time to build up to the minimum payout sometimes. This one will be for $25 so it'll be nice to reach it soon. Luckily this isn't the only payout I'm close to. :o
It really is nice to see the $$ actually arrive. I got some good ones last year too. Be patient & I'm sure you'll reach some too. Best of luck! ;D

Well, if they will ban you for talking about them on a discussion board - that is red flag number one. If the emails are slowing down - that's red flag number two. If they're slowing down just before you reach payout - strike, I mean, red flag number three. Unfortunately there are sites that prefer not to pay out. So they will make sure that they get as much out of you as they can and then drop you like a hot potato. It may not be the case with this one but I wouldn't hold my breath.

it always happens.we used to get lot of mails when we start and we near the payout the number of mails too will be decreasing.sometimes i will be short of 0.5 cents that is only one mail less than the payout and hence has to wait for another day to request for the payment.Further we will also be getting some expired mails only at that time.

LOL, yeah, don't you love the time sensitive emails. If you're not waiting at the door already, you might not get anything.
Since this will be my first payout, I don't know how long it takes to actually receive the $$$ so I guess, even after I reach the minimum, I'll be waiting at the mailbox again. roflol

LOL yeah I've had than happen to me soooo many times as well. Smoe time I've been down to the last half cent and there're just no mails. :-D

Which site is it you are close to getting a payout from? And yes I have found on sites it seems that the email just pile up until you are about to cash out and then they slow down good luck though hope you get to cash out soon

The best I can do is to say that you'll find it listed as "soon" on my profile's link page. ;)
It's rather slow going with just a few referrals, but until you can show payout proof, well, you know.....
LOL! Hey! Look! I just got a new email from them. LOL Time to go open it now. :D
