I have tried creams. I get enough sleep. Is ther anything I can do to lessen the appearance? Under eye cream barely makes a dent and no matter how much I sleep they are black! Any ideas?

dehydration can cause this so it may help to drink more water.

On a similar note, I think I migh need to add some iron to my diet again. Someone pointed out to me today I look really tired and I realized I actually am. I think anemia might be a factor.

Oh, lord, I don't have time to be depressed or to pray. If either or lack thereof causes dark circles no wonder I am in such a state!

Hi, Gently massage saffron or almond oil on the dark area before going to bed. Dip cotton pads in fig juice, rosewater, or cold milk. Lie down with your feet raised higher than your head, then place the wet pads on your closed eyes. Stay that way for 10 minutes. Best of Luck, bye

I've been suffering from dark circles under my eyes for all of my life and I've found that nothing will remove them :/ I've been using eye cream from Lush and it's made them a bit less noticeable, but eye creams are never the miracle cure. I definitely don't believe depression causes it, the circles are always there even when I'm so happy I could burst! I've just accepted the fact that I'll always have to wear cover up and my glasses to conceal it.

I'd never even heard of depression causing it, only lack of sleep. Nothing has really helped me either, other than having a nice tan which seems to minimize the effect.

Have you tried a product from CLARINS called eye contour gel. It helps reduces puffiness and minimizes dark circles. It help me so I hope it'll help you, too. Good luck !!!

ive found eye drops really help my eyes and washing them in an eye bath also detoxing and drinking a lot of water could help. you could also try cucumber slices you just cut 2 thin round cucumber slices and place them on your eyes for 5 minutes do that twice a week until your eyes start looking better
