Do Women really like it?

As I am a girl myself, I can honestly answer that question from my perspective and my answer would be a bit of both. Personally, even though I'm not a sporty person and I don't really catch up with all the sporting stuff (teams and players and all) I do enjoy watching sports once in a while. Since I rarely watch sports when guys watch sports sometimes I just watch it with them because I sometimes, simply, want to be loud and rowdy just like them. I mean, for me, since I don't really follow along with sports and teams and all, I don't really know who to cheer for or anything like all you guys do but I do sometimes just enjoy watching it and just plain having fun. Depending on who I'm watching it with, sometimes I purely enjoy it as well, and other times I enjoy it but I also watch it with guys just to humor them. I don't think girls really despise them though. Or at least I don't. It's just annoying when guys get too into it and ignore me when I try to make the same comment like five times in a row or something like that.

I personally don't enjoy watching sports on TV because I don't know the teams, I only enjoy watching a good local game where I know who the players are. I suppose if I knew who the players were I might get more enjoyment out of the sports I was watching. I have a friend who loves watching NASCAR racing. I think it's kind of funny because she is the one who drags her husband over to watch it with her. I often wonder whether he watches it because he enjoys it or if he is just humoring her.
