There are lots of good chicken recipies. But since you want quick recipe, let me introduce to you one of my favorite chicken dish. Its called Chicken Tinola. (In case, you want a change.) But this is a dish with soup. Ingredients: 1 kl. Chicken (your choice of cuts 500 grams raw papayas (the green ones) or sayote (you know this?) chopped ginger chopped onions fresh chili leaves whole pepper corns salt to taste flavored chicken cubes (optional) oil (any) water In a pan, heat oil. Sautee onions and ginger until golden brown. Add raw papayas and chicken. Add water and bring to boil til tender and the chicken is cook. You may add the chicken cubes(flavorings) pepper and salt according to your taste. Simmer for another 3 minutes in a low fire. Then done. Ginger made this dish taste good. You may try this. For a change. I have an American friend. (Liza) who love this.

Sayote.. the green vegetable. its larger than potatoes.. I'm sure you use it when you cook mixed vegetables.. But you may substitute any greens.. perhaps brocolli. Im sorry for the measurement. I mean kilogram in there.. 1 kgs. chicken and 1/2 kgs. green papayas (thats 500 grams)

Thanks so much. I just realised some cultural differnces from your post. The grams and kl (kiloleter?), but I'm sure I can convert them. :-) Also I'm not sure what sayote but I've heard of the papayas.

I love chicken thighs....cook them in the oven at 350 and after about 1/2 an hour I take them out, coat them in garlic butter and than add my favorite spices....usually garlic powder, onion powder, celery salt and poultry spice....I leave them for another 1 and a 1/2 -2 hours and than serve them, they are excellent, the skin stays nice and crunchy and the flavor seeps through to the meat inside

Here in our country, "chicken adobo" is very popular..some called it as the national viand ...lolz...Actually i love it. Here are some steps to follow...Wash the Chicken very well and rub some salt on it..then heat oil and fried all the garlic until it becomes light brown. After that add the chicken and saute until the chicken is beginning to tenderize. Add ground black pepper, whole black pepper cloves, soysauce and vinegar and let it simmer for 25-30 minutes or until the chicken is done. Remember dont stir it for it will have a bad taste...hehehe..then if you want you can also add a sugar in accordance to your taste or 7-up/Sprite...(its a soda) lastly let it simmer again for 5 mins then serve hot...hope you both like it....

At home we always use natural and fresh seasonings. This include: garlic, onions (bulbs and spring), ginger, tomatoes, green and red bell peppers and black pepper. Sautee, in vegetable oil, minced garlic until brown, add minced onion and ginger, when cooked add tomatoes until they bleed, add sliced bell peppers and sliced spring onions then, crushed black peppers. Put in desired amount of sliced chicken allowing it to be cooked awhile before pouring in a little amount of water, if needed, add a teaspoon of sugar and salt to taste. You may add some carrots, potatoes and cabbage if desired.

If you have leftover chicken, here is a recipe I found on a website about 3 years ago using beef and have since then converted it to chicken. Quick Casserole take cooked chicken and tear into pieces and layer in a casserole dish. (I use quite a bit since my husband likes lots of chicken) Drain a can of corn and spread this over top the chicken. Spread a can of cream of chicken soup on top of the corn (don't add any milk to soup) and top the soup with a layer of tater tots. (I usually put a couple of extras on the layer that I put in one by one and as close as possible) Bake in a 350 degree oven until tater tots are crisp. This can be served over toast, noodles or just alone. This can be made ahead of time and put into the refrigeator until ready to bake. The original recipe was cooked hamburger, green beans, cream of mushroom soup and tater tots. It is easy to vary the ingredients to suit your own taste as to meat, vegetable, and cream soup. Its nothing spectacular but you have meat, veg., and potatoes all in one meal.

Here's another good one. If you like garlic chicken you'll love this recipe. Do this with chicken fillets or bone in pieces either way. Just cut a few little slits in the skin and insert slivers of garlic. Dip each piece in beaten egg and roll in bread crumbs or flour. Season with salt and pepper and fry in hot oil until it's golden on the outside and done well on the inside, about 15 minutes on each side. Serve with salad or green beans, broccoli and carrots or whatever you like.

I make a dish which is like a quick cassulet. Saute chunks of sweet sausage, chicken thighs, onion and garlic. Add some cubed potatoes, cannelini beans and mild cherry peppers (marinated in jar) and chicken stock. Simmer until the beans have absorbed some of the liquid and the stew becomes rich and creamy.
