ONLINE status of MEMBERS on MyLot while you are RESPONDING to DISCUSSIONS??

I started a discussion about changing of the friend's list and this was presented to me and I thought "what a great idea". But wouldn't it be nice if we knew who was online (perhaps with a light next to their name) when we were responding to discussions at myLot. I know I would enjoy it, I have friends all over the world and to know when they are online would help me since when I respond to their discussions they would be able to respond back to at the moment that I leave the message instead of hours later when they read it, what are your thoughts??

i agree, i wish they had that too, i was thinking about it like a month or so ago, it would be pretty cool, i know one member who has online and offline status under his name, but i have no clue how he got it there :P haha, but i sure do hope that they do something like that, because it would make the site a lot better, and people a lot easier accessable.

I think that is a great idea.
But I also think that they would need to put a privacy setting on there too.
Because not always does everyone want others to know that they are online.
Say someone knew you were online and they just wanted to send messages back and forth constantly. Then, you would not get anything done for discussions because you spent all your time in private messages.
Or, say that a person is busy catching up on discussions and they do not get time yet to come back and see if you posted a comment. Then, you might feel that person is avoiding you when in fact, the person is trying to be fair to all his or her friends by trying to answer everyone.
But I think it is a great idea...as long as they put a Ninja Mode in there too. :)

i think this would be a great idea if we could see where other members are when we respond, it would certainly make a much more interesting discussion forum

I thing this would be a nice added feature. Seeing if your friends are online. Did you write myLot yet or do you want to see what everyone has to say? I agree with what others have to say we should be able to have a setting to put up appear offline if we are catching up on disussions and responces.

That's a very interesting idea. It would be nice to know which of your friends were online at the same time you are. It would be even nicer if your friends who ARE online, moved to the front of your friends list. I wonder if there would be a way to change the "light" to a different color if you have received a response from your friend. Hmmm...
Red for offline, yellow for online, green for left message. LOL
