Do you perfer to go barefoot around the house or do you perfer...?

Do you perfer to go barefoot around the house or do you wear shoes or socks or house slippers around the house?I usually wear my shoes around the house during the day and at night I wear socks or house slippers.I cannot stand to go barefoot around the house.I do not know why though.I guess even though you sweep you still somtetimes get stuff on your feet like dirt ect. that always seems to make it into the house.LOL.I know I should take my shoes off at the door and that would eliminate some of the problem of dirt ect.but I just cant will myself to do it yet.LOL.

I would prefer to go barefoot but with all my animals I can't. They sometimes leave suprises on the floor and its not very pleasant to step in when you are barfoot. Besides it is winter time here and my floors get cold so now I am wearing slippers. In the summer I wear my flip flops.

I stop everyone at my door before they come in. I hate shoes on my carpet. I have kids and my little one crawls all over and the things on your shoes don't need to be on the carpet. That is just sick to me. So everyone takes shoes off before they enter my house or they will shampoo my carpets right there at that time. LOL! I'm crazy about it.

I go barefoot everywhere. I hate wearing shows, and I cannot fathom why. I've never liked wearing anything on my feet. Even in Boston, going for a walk, I'd go for walks barefoot. The bottoms of my feet are so tough now that they hardly feel anything. But I love'em that way, go figure.

I usually go around with socks on, or naked feet =) My kids have to have their shoes and socks off in the house, they can't hardly stand to put them on when we go to the store!!

My son used to be like that.He used to not want his shoes or socks on I guess since he was born in May and that is almost in the summer then when it turned winter he was used to not having shoes on.LOL.Well now he has to have his shes in the house at all times as well as slippers.Except when he goes to bed.

I hate to have socks or shoes on. I rarely have them on while in the house. This makes my husband crazy for he always has on socks and most of the time shoes. He can not understand why I do not wear them. (and he also does not like my Cold feet on him in bed hehehe) I think i will start using the excuse of "less laundry" LOL

It's funny actually..I start off in socks and end up barefoot..sometimes, I wear my slippers..but getting up and down and moving through the house I end up leaving them behind..

It's fun in the summertime to go barefoot. Somehow it feels like you are making a connection with nature. In the wintertime it's usually too cold to go barefoot unless you have heated floors. Slippers are a good idea in the winter.

Even I do the same thing.Even if some dirt is found on my feet I go mad and wash my legs.I wear slippers even when I am sleeping.Its habitual now and I can't live without it now.

I prefer to go around barefoot in the house and it's been like that all through my growing up years. There was only a period in time when I wore slippers in the house and that was when I stayed with my aunt for about 10 years. The reason was that she wasn't very particular about sweeping or mopping the floor regularly and I didn't like the feeling of stepping on dirt and dust all aound the house. However, living on my own now, I make sure my floors are cleaned regularly so I can walk around barefoot freely.

I am ALWAYS barefoot when I'm at home. You can even see in my display picture! For me, it is just so comfortable to let my little toes breathe. I can't stand when my feet are hot! My husband always has on socks though.

I like to be barefoot inside the house. If I am going outside for only a short time, I put on my slippers. If I am leaving the house and yard altogether, then it's time for shoes and socks.

well i like to be barefoot but when i have to go out i have to wear my shoes.. but sometimes even i go out bare foot... i m 99% of times barefoot at home...

I love walking barefoot around the house & sometimes even outside on the lawn. except of course in winter. even indoors i don't go barefoot during winter.

The weather here is usually quite warm, so I usually go barefoot around the house and outside onto the front porch to tend the flowers. Yes, tiny things can get on my feet because there is carpeting in the house, but I just brush the little bits of stuff off and keep going. I am one of those who leave shoes at the door because we have gold colored carpeting which was here before we arrived, and it shows every little speck of dirt.
