Former Chicago Bulls star Scottie Pippen completed a two-day business trip to Dallas on Tuesday without making any contact with the Dallas Mavericks in regards to a possible contract. Pippen, who wants to make a comeback, said that wasn't his intention. "I did not come here to see the Mavs," Pippen said. "I came here to play golf. I'm on a business tour. And it's got nothing to do with basketball at all. At the rate they're playing, they can keep that (roster) spot. They can sign [owner] Mark Cuban to that spot. It's not like they need anything. They don't need me."

pippen is too old to play again. rumors has it that he want to play for san antonio or for the lakers. this doesnt really make sense since he's got nothing more to prove, he's got 6 rings unlike kal malone, reggie miller, patrick ewing and the rest of the superstars who never had a ring. at least playing for phil jackson would make a little sense

Why didn't he say that when all the news was about him coming back. I'll bet they were not willing to give him enough cash to come back.

i think pippen is not in good shape to play anymore, he should just retire.
