does age gaps matter with couples?

I m looking for opinions on does it really matter if the female is 10 years older than the male,taken in consideration that she might already have children and definetly doesnt want anymore.I know its much different the other way round cause males dont have to give birth wether they're in their 30's 40's 50's.Anyone got any real stories to tell me,thanks
