busy with eBay - Busy listing on eBay
Start by clearing out some of your stuff in the house, books, music, things like that. It's often easier to start off small by clearing out your junk, then you will get a feel for eBay and see what sells and what doesn't. Good luck

What I do is every few months I do a big cleanout of the house, and anything we no longer need or use, I sell. SAme thing after birthdays or Christmas, I sell any unwanted gifts (brand new makes extra $$). If you want something a bit more, try searching on ebay 'Wholesale' or 'Bulk lot'. Some people sell mutliple lots of something eg. a neclace, for a set price. Say you get 5 for only $20, all you have to do is sell them for more than $4 each to make a profit. I've only just started out doing this, so I don't know how good it is yet, but its a suggestion. Another idea is to check out the 'Want it now' section. People post what they're looking for or want to buy. Have a look, you might find something that you were planning to get rid of, or maybe you see something at a garage sale. The most important thing is to offer excellent customer service. Be reliable with mailing out items, and be accurate with your descriptions. That way all your customers will leave positive feedback, which reassures other people who are considering buying from you. I think thats the main things. Other ideas are buying items from the standard shops when they're on special and selling those on. There are almost a million and one different things you can do!!

Well, if your wife has any sewing abilities, how about some pants that will fit women with hips and a smaller waist? ha ha Sorry, that is from one of my recent discussions. Besides that, I am wanting some stuff that is Wiccan/Pagan based for my walls. Tapestries or alter cloths. I did find some things that were great with my sister's help, but my partner did not like them because they were either too little or too big. Then there was one that was perfect...but the wrong color. LOL Still waiting to find the right item to hang on that one wall. :)

What are you interested in finding? maybe i can help you out, my wife is pretty good with finding pretty esoteric stuff online. Unfortunately there's not any new age shops in this area, which i really miss. But actually...LOL i'm the one who sews in the family. If a button falls off or a hem needs fixed....it gets handed to me. Actually, her mom gave me a sewing machine for christmas two years ago. My wife still doesn't know how to work it!

It all depends on what type of investing money you have. Do some research on what is HOT on Ebay. I think that they had a HOT list and you can decide what you want to sell. I have been selling on Ebay for almost 10 years now and I always tell people that if they want to do this for good, they need to sell what they like. Otherwise it becomes a chore and not a passion. I am taking a small hiatus right now but I have sold clothing and books. Both very successful. But I also notice that electronics are hot and so are antiques. I always thought that ink cartridges is a hot business. I buy mine off Ebay all the time. The options are limitless...its just what you would like to do and how much money you have to invest.
