Making money with Amivision

Has anyone heard of a company / scheme called Amivision. Apparently you pay £2 through paypal, then you get the next 20 members fee, plus 50% of the next 50 members etc. I'm quite wary of such schemes, are thet legal and allowed with paypal?
Does anyone have any experience of this or similar schemes?
