I had mother-in-law who expired 2 years before but she was too loving to me and I loved her. In rural areas when we lived I found all MIL is affectionate to their son's wife. I do not think why women wil be against women? Why she will not love her sons's wife? We all women should be like a good MIL and our next generation will learn from us to love their son's wife. I think some greedy old women always in caos with their sons's wife. Ofcourse at old age temper and desire deteriorate and as young or as wife we also should some thought about old women who is our MIL and we must take more care about them then they will love us much. You are lucky like me as I also got huge love from my MIL.

yeah.. i think it's about egoist. sometimes either the MIL or the DIL is egoist about herself. the MIL maybe thinks that her son is always her son and her DIL has no right to love her son more than her. and that DIL thinks that she has to love her husband more than everybody. and both of them need love from the man called son and husband.
