I think it was either ghostbusters or Howard the duck, both classic films that inspired me to be the dude I am now, such great films for the eighties, I own them on dvd and I watch them every other week, just so they are reminders of my childhood!

My first movie in a cinema was Back to the Future. I was about 5 at this time I guess. I was thinking it was the second or third one but that couldn't be right because I had seen Child's Play in the cinema too and it came out in 88 and it wasn't the first time I had been.

The first movie I remember seeing in the theater was Grease. I remember I was the last to see it amoung my friends. I had and knew the soundtrack by heart before I saw the film.It was a Saturday matinee. It was worth the wait.

I was six or seven and I went to see the Little Mermaid (dubbed in Dutch!). My parents had kept it as a surprise and I was so excited :) I can even remember how they told me that we were going to the cinema, it's a good memory.

I sure do, I was six or seven and it was a really big deal because we never went to the movies as a family. My parents took me and a bunch of friends and siblings to see the original, "Bad News Bears."

Yes I remember it like it was yesterday. My mom had taken me and my older sister to the theater back in the late 60s and we saw the sound of music. Its funny that you happen to post this topic up. I was hoping to take my 4 year old later on today to Hollywood video to go and look for the Sound of Music. I'm hoping this is one movie that he will truly enjoy seeing.

The first movie I remember seeing is Young Frankenstein when I was six years old. I'm sure I saw others before that but that is the first one I remember going to and seeing on the big screen.

The first movie I ever saw on the big screen was Jaws. I was thrilled and still watch it everytime it comes on TV. I remember I screamed that first time when the head rolled out of the ship. Oh not just me either the entire theater screamed. It was not one of those hot box multiplex theaters that we have now either but a grand theater with velvet curtians and upholstered seats and even a lovers balcony. I was 16 years old, it was the first movie group date my mother had let me go out on.
