I just finished Misery. It was an amazing book. Man, I didn't know what to expect. The ending shocked me, I thought Annie had really come back to kill him. (sorry if I ruined that for anyone)It was great. Any other thoughts on it?

That book had to be Stephen King's own nightmare or worst fear. Actually for any celebrities really. Annie was such a great villian because she did seem so normal. She wasn't one the town would think of or most would consider as being a bit crazy, well more then a bit. I've read several of King's books and I think my favorite is still IT, but then it deals with some of my fears. Clowns and things only some people can see. It was an excellent book if you haven't read it.

The Shining and It were awesome. I wasn't much for Carrie, but it was still alright. I have not gotten to Desperation yet.

Misery is a fine Stephen King book, and it really was ironic that the novel he wrote with Annie's "gracious" help was the one that got him his award. I didn't enkoy it that much though, maybe because I read some twenty-or-so Stephen King books before that, so maybe I was burned out.
