Boy commits suicide

A boy all of 14 yrs committed suicide in Bangalore. The reason quoted has been a very complex one: A girl in his class asked him to move out of the way he was blocking in his school corridor. While he was trying to clear the way, the girl got knocked and so complained to the teacher. The teacher blew this issue out of proportion and scolded the boy in public in the class for over an hour and asked him to get his parents the next day. The boy, unable to face his parents committed suicide the very same night. This is no isolated an incident Now the issue that arises out of this is.. why are more and more school kids committing suicide these days?

Wow. I feel bad for him. I can only imagine how strict or unreasonable his parents must have been. I am sure there were some signs before showing that he was depressed. He probably could have gotten help. How can parents be so blind that they don't notice their child asking for attention.

Well he didnt give them a chance to feel that he was depressed. He had dinner at night and as he did normally sat down to study.. it was only after they had gone to sleep that he took this extreme step. They never knew this whole story nor the fact that he was asked to get his parents. I blame the teacher here. Senseless..knowing that the guy is very shy, she shouldnt have done that.

That is true! Sometimes when adults have bad days they usually take on the poor kids. That teacher should have approached the issue with more sensitiveness. I hope that the teacher feels guilty.

She actually didnt!!!! She nor her school commented on the whole issue...even when the press approached them! Such highhandedness!!!
