I have no idea, I had a boy. I let him date when he was ready. I was 16 when I was allowed to date, and some of my friends were 15. I think it depends on your daughters, how mature they are, how the boy is, what kind of supervision if any is needed etc.

I have four girls and one boy and feel that too many youngsters are going out on dates before they are ready for the responsibility that goes along with dating . My daughters were almost fourteen before I agreed to let them have a boyfriend and that was a in school boyfriend or one that could come visit on special occasions . Now that one of them is seventeen and the other one is almost fifteen I would have no problem with them going out somewhere . My seventeen year old has gone out different times but my almost fifteen year old has still not asked to go out on a date alone yet . They go to dances and such and talk on the phone and stuff like that . My twelve year old son is now interested in girls but the same rules will apply for him as for the girls as I don't believe that it is fair to make the rules different for girls then for boys .
