I received 2 similar emails... both from persons in Africa... 1 was to ask for help locating a huge amount of money, the other was to entrust a huge amount of money for safe keeping... both stories were saying some close relative died and left the amount of money... no doubt i think both are scams... but are they really scams?? anyone received and emails like this???

What does it mean if a guy is talking to someone and when you walk by and he calls out your name and offers you chocolate and when you thank him in an email he doesn't respond?

Your right they are both scams, they had notices on the television here saying they have a large amount of money and want you to send them so they can get the money out of the country.......Don't fall for it but don't let them take advantage of you.....That type of mail going all over the internet....

I have once set up a free email account with the "Spam Guard" off as to see what funny things I can have everyday and the "Sudden Fortunes" you had just mentions was almost come to my mail everyday..LOL....They were almost all came from Africa or Nigeria who were looking for someone they can "Trust" to help them transfer the huge amounts of money out from their respective country. I had once purposely leave my local contact number for them to contact me and I pretend to express my wish to work together with them to get those money and to my surprise they were not only follow up closely with emails but do call up personally....the games was continue until I set it off! Its a scams!!Just delete them whenever you get it next time.

These are scams, delete them immediately. Do not respond to them and if you can, report them to your ISP. I have lost count of the number of these emails I have received in the last year alone.

Definitely scams!!! I get these in my emails all the time and have been told by many people they are just scams. They are out to get your personal information especially your bank account details and bleed them dry (so i've heard!)

Yes they are and do not respond to them. I bet if you had done a full header on the emails you would find that they were from Nigeria. I have had a few of them myself lately and I have done alot of readin on this type of scam. Most of them are coming out of Nigeria as I said.
