Buying a house can be fun and stressful at the same time. Later, when you look back on it, it might even be unny. What is your humerous real estate story?

We are just in the process of moving into our next home. Some of the houses we have looked at seemed like they could do with bulldozing down then starting afresh. When you look at the pictures of the house in the realestate website they don't look too bad and the writeup for it does not tell you the faults with the house it says things like kitchen could use some work. Well I can tell you the kitchen needed more than work lol the kitchen needed a whole complete new kitchen installed. The carpets had pet stains all over them, the walls had holes and the stairs swayed when you walked down them. We took one look and said ummmmm no thanks it's not quite what we are after. Our own house has sold now and we have found another which is like a smaller version of the house we are in. We did find a lot of unsuitable houses, maybe we are fussy. The real estate proudly put a sold sign up on the old house. The next morning we woke up and had to go out. As we drove out the driveway there was something different about the sign out the front. It wasn't until later we realised what it was. Somebody stole our sold sticker from our sign hehehe I would say somebody is gonna be surprised to find a nice sold sticker on a house that is not actually sold.
