I would rent funny movies. Laughter eliminates stress. Or if you don't want to rent, go out to the movies and watch a comedy.
Also, I would very much want to recommend taking a salt bath with lavender scented salts. Lavender is known to relieve stress and decrease depression. Salts are known to slough off negative energies. When you take a salt bath, it cleanses your aura and electomagentic fields. That's why whenever I take it, I ALWAYS feel much much lighter afterwards. Our auras and electromagnectic field around our body always picks up negative debris daily. Especially, when we are in a stressful environment and/or around different kinds of people.
Try to take a salt bath everyday or whenver you are stressed out and you will see a difference. Pour 1 cup of regular salt (or lavender scented salts) in a tub of warm water.
Soak yourself in it for about 30 minutes to 1 hour. Listen to your favorite relaxing station or music. Then get up and rinse yourself.

I guess stress can be different things to different people, I suffer from stress, I saw on the Oprah show the other week someone say that stress in inward anger, what they were talking about made a lot of sense, so I have been trying to get rid of a lot of of my angers so to speak, telling myself certain things don't matter anymore, part of the past, life is way too short and I am trying ever so hard to be happy and only see the good in people and be around happy positive people and you know I think it has worked a bit, because life is short and we all must try and be happy with what we have...good luck I hope you win..
