IE is best because it has been designed to view the broadest range of web pages without major problems. During the heydays of the historic browser wars, Internet Explorer embraced Netscape by supporting many of the progressive features of the time. For a long period after the introduction of version six, there was no further development on the browser. Major development on the browser restarted in 2004 for Windows XP SP2 and continues in IE7.

I use the latest Firefox for months, it's very fast, and never closed down by itself. It can restore what I have visited. But it is not safe if you use in the public shop, it will store your private, you have to clean its private data before closing it. There is also another site adding to Fire Fox for report the scam your private is called Phisguard.com, you can download free to use.

i think firefox i much better as we can perform many extra functions like download tab, opening various sites only on a single window so it does not look messy, spell checkers is a very cool feature and its security. Internet explorer is also very good and reliable but for me firefox rules in my computer for browsing.

I have IE 6 and Firefox 2. I like Firefox much better than IE. It seems faster and more secure, and I love how I can open new tabs within the same window, unlike with IE, where you have many windows open.
