little 7yr old Shaldean Human who was murdered, and in support for her parents and family. Shaldean was wearing pink when she was last seen with her friend and her friends godfather. Shaldeans godfather later confessed to the murder and took the police to the scene of the crime where her little body was found. It was the murderers court case to-day and hundreds of people attended outside, all dressed in pink in protest of what he has done and calling for the death penalty. The case has been reprimanded until 16 March as he did not have a lawyer, and will get one from legal aid. I was always against the death sentence thinking it was so barbaric and we are supposed to be civilised people. I would argue with my friends and family, the death penalty will not reduce crime. Well, sad to say, South Africa needs the death penalty back big time. There have been a lot of little children murdered lately and very brutally too. God knows what other things were done to them. It's too difficult to think about! Bring back the death penalty, that will be my vote this year! I am saddened that my thoughts have changed so much, but our little children must be safe at all times.
