Slade Music

I used to love Slade, I was young when they were ontop and I always remember my teacher being a big fan of theirs. They were underated though, as alot of their less famous songs are some of their best. You do not get bands like this anymore, which is ashame. Its more about making money than music today. I have to admit the only song I know well of Slade's is Merry Xmas Everybody and it's quite a good catchy song. Didn't Noddy Holder go on to star in various tv shows since leaving Slade back in 1991? He was born in 1946 quite a veteran now, born in Walsall.

I didn't like all their Songs but yes I do like some of their Music.

The only Slade song I know is the dance version of Run Run Away... it always makes me want to get up and boogie!! lol!

Im 37 now but when i was about 6 my uncle who is 10 yrs older than me used to play slade and black sabbath and led zepplin LOUD ect, my mums family used to tell him that i woud go deaf listening to it with him. He used to tape all of those records (yes i did say records) for me, i still listen to those bands now. The funny thing is slade isnt realy very well known but when i met my fiance 8.5yrs ago wouldnt ya know it hes a slade fan too. I expecially like the song 'Everyday' i dont know what it is about it but both hubby and i love it.

I think their music is ok but I'm not really a fan hon, think I know that Christmas would just not be the same without them! Wolfie is right too Noddy Holder has been on a few tv programmes!
