Have you tried to learn a second language?

I've been gradually learning Tibetan. I find it difficult sometimes but I really enjoy it when I memorize something and understand a little more than before, It's like slowly opening a window to a new perspective.

In my lifetime, I have tried to learn three different languages. As a teen, I learned French and it was fairly easy, but I didn't stick with it. In high school, I had to take Latin and it was my favorite of the three, but pretty much a lost language. College brought me to Spanish and that was very difficult for me. I am not sure if it was because I was older or because I was busier, but it was not something I became fluent with which is unfortunate because at this point in my life, it would have been helpful. Good luck !
