Chihuahua are great for ashtma!

Did you know that chihuahua actually draw ashtma attacks out of you and have them for you. They will go around and cough having the attack and it does not hurt them what so ever. My parents had gotten one for me when I was very small for my ashtma cause they tried every thing else out there and it still didn't help me. Buffy lived for over 15 years and was a very good companion for me 2 weeks after she died My ashtma came back full force and my husband had to get me another chihuahua to help me breathe cause I couldn't. I would sit up at night and cough and struggle to breathe. We had Molly for about 10 years. Now we have another one and he is such a sweet loving little guy. He does have my ashtma attacks and they don't bother his health none what so ever. I know this sounds crazy but, it works. In fact I don't have to take medicines unless he is not with us like at a shopping mall. For the most part I don't have to have medicines at all. If I do take medicine for my attacks it is properly only 3 times a year. Don't worry it doesn't jeoperdize your dogs health at all and they help you breathe so much easier! Do you have a chihuahua for this reason or just for a pet to love? What do you think?

I have 3 chihuahuas and they are my babies. I have never heard of them helping people with asthma but they are amazing little dogs. I used to have a doberman pinscher so I made quite a jump from big to little.

A lot of chihuahuas have collasped tracheas, that is what their breed deals with, and it sounds like they are having an asthma attack.

Then why does it work so well for my ashtma attacks? I have suffered for years with the attacks so bad that I could not sleep at night to the point where all I could do is cough so much that I would vomit and not able to breathe. I am a 32 year old women and since I was about the age of 8 I have always had a chihuahua and they have always pulled the ashtma out of me I don't even have to take medicines anymore for it. If I did not have my dog I would have to take prescription meds. I am not trying to knock down your comment, I guess how chihuahua drawls out ashtma will always be a mystery to me. lol Well thanks for the imput and take care.

wow, i totally believe that a dog can do that. i had a friend that had a lot of illnesses & she said her chihuahua helped her to calm her breathing & took her pains away. dogs r truely a humans best friend
