Yes Toni
It Builds our Character if we choose to not to follow and be like them. A Strong Powerful Character... But oh...can they try so hard to make you be like them and when you chose not to be... How ugly and nasty they can be. But if you hang in there and stand tall, eventually the whole community will eventually see just how dysfunctional they can be. Yes it's OK...I've gotten through, I chose to never be influence by that ever again. I used my voice and I will until the end.

I'm really sorry but I have one of the closest, loving families I have personally ever seen! It baffles me when I hear how other families don't get along and feud about stupid stuff! I don't know if you mean dysfunctional in this way but it's so different from what I'm used to! Anyone of my family members would do anything for me and I for them! Which is really cool because my family is huge (my mom's family has 4 brothers and 3 sisters and my dad's has 5 brothers and 1 sister and I couldn't even tell you just how many cousins I have off the top of my head!) I'm sorry you have a dysfunctional family but I hope this doesn't depress you hearing about my awesome family!

I have such a dysfunction family, you can see my multiple problems under mylot. Or under mylot page. Maybe if you read all the terrible things, maybe it will make you feel a little better about yours. My entire experience from childhood to now adulthood has been one big disaster after another, marrying the wrong man and gaining another very dysfunctional family time after time, now on my 3rd marriage - which is soon coming to an end. But between all that with my in-laws, my own immediate family, and extended family, my life is just so crazy dysfunctional I do not know how I have made it this far. I am tired and am giving up. I am too wore out and tired of all the drama, the BS, the craziness, etc... and cannot and will not take it any more! So good luck to you and I wish you well and will pray for you.
