Peanut butter is such a good tasty food, and source of protein. I just finished a peanut butter and jalepeno pepper sandwich. I think peanut butter tastes great on most green things, I like it on lettuce leaves - green apples - hot peppers - celery. mmmm. I feel so bad for all the children who have severe alergies to peanuts, how difficult that must be as you can not control everyone else's diet who you might come into contact with. Such an isolating affliction. And so many these days suffer it:(

I love peanut butter too, and it is good for you. But in the last year peanut butter has not always agreed with me, but I still eat it. I get these cravings for a good old peanut butter and jelly sandwich and a cold cold glass of milk. Only in recent years have I noticed people eating it on green apples and such. It looks delicious that way. I love it on celery too. You know this discussion is making me hungry :)

You know what I eat peanut butter with? Bananas! I crave for sweets after a meal so at times when I can't see a chocolate bar, I just get a spoonful of peanut butter and lick it as I would an ice cream.

"peanut butter and jalepeno pepper sandwich" now that is a new one on me and to be honest scares me - I do love peanut butter and am often known to just eat it off a spoon. I have low blood sugar and peanut butter is a quick, easy protein fix when I'm having sugar problems.

Gosh, I'm afraid that would be too hot for me. I don't eat very much peanut butter, but my kids used to like the peanut butter and banana sandwiches or peanut butter and dill pickle sandwiches. I used to make them in little rounds, with a sandwich loaf. Spread the peanut butter, lay the banana or dill pickle on top and roll like a jelly roll. Then slice across and you have pretty little rounds.

I have never heard of eating peanut butter with pickle...but hey, that is more "proof" that peanut butter goes with Green things!
