Homeopathic medicine has become quite popular again - but all the different products and names and their uses are so unfamiliar to me I get faint trying to recall them - plus we do not have a source for all the various herbs and oils.
What are your favorite home remedies that use things one would normally have in the house?
I've not tried this one but know it was sworn by for many years: for an ear infection, blow smoke into the ear canal.
I think the smoke is supposed to dry up moisture inside the ear?

Ginger is very good for nausea and intestinal cramping. The simplest way to keep and use it is to get some dried, powdered ginger (in the spice area of the grocery store).
You put about 1/4 tsp in a cup of hot water and stir. A drop of honey can help, too, if you want to add it. Sip slowly.
