What jingles were you taught that helped you in your studies?
Many middle aged Americans will remember the Saturday cartoon breaks that gave us School Rock - those tunes are embedded in our minds.
Lolly lolly lolly get your adverbs here - conjunction junction what's your function - I'm just a bill sitting here on capital hill, etc.
And we probably all used the ABC song some others that Have stuck with me all these years are:
for the planets
My Very Earthly Mother Just Served Us Nine Pickles
for spelling
I before E except after C
for chemistry
Johnny was a chemist, Johnny is no more, what Johnny thought was h2o was h2so4, the solution to pollution is dilution.
then there were a few algebraic ones with sine and such.
And of course Johnny Horton's songs were great for history class. . . in 1814 we took a little trip, along with col jackson down the mighty mississip.
Anyhow, what diddys do you recall?

lol! was the pinball machine a sesame street skit?
I never could remember the months one, I always relied on my knuckles of the left hand, starting with January and going back to the first knuckle again for august. if the month lands in the hollow of a knuckle it has 30 days (but for february) and if it lands on the knuckle itself then it has 31.
