how do you describe a color blue to a blind person since birth?

Most of the call center ask that question during interview, what do you think is the answer to that?

Perhaps with water. To some of us with vision water looks blue, why can't it feel blue? Just a thought. Take care Grecychunny26.

That is hard!! Its not like you can say the color of the sky because they wouldn't know hmm I wonder if anyone would have an answer for that

i think i have an idea, like i will describe a color blue to a blind person like friendship, hapiness, calmness and warmness, i think answers that includes are affections will be valid. do you think so?

very tough question huh! well i know that he doesnt know any color, and dont know any idea of a color is.. But i guess i will describe blue to him as a cloud..In that he will know that clouds is blue..and perhaps to compare blue to a feeling or a mood of a person..

That is a very interesting question. I don't think that I would be able to do that. That goes to show that sometimes we took what we have for granted. It would be interesting to see how others would respond to this.
