HYPNOSIS..are you favor of it or do you oppose it and why?

I like to keep an open mind and unless I have experienced it for myself then I will not knock it or mock anyone who has used this technique. As long as you are in a safe controlled place then I can't see why people cannot seek hyponsis as a way of helping them get through life. Yes you do think of a swinging watch when you think of hypnosis but I'm sure it's not as crude as that. I sought out acupuncture when I had some emotional problems and it did the trick, I expect when you talk about acupuncture people will automatically think of gramophone needles! It may not work for some, but I'm sure others benefit from it.
