What are your opinions on deja-vu?

Have you had such experiences?
Do you have any idea what could be the explanation for it?
Please share :)
I for one happen to have such moments when I think something and then I seem to remember having thought the same thing while doing the same thing I was doing and it's pretty strange. Especially when the next thought after that is yet another thought you remember having.
However, what could be the explanation of this? I couldn't find one so far. How could I remember something that never happened?

the only time i've experience the "deja-vu" is when the 2 dreams that came true happened. the first time was so strange & surreal that i just sat there for several minutes then told the gal sitting with me that this was my dream that i'd had since i was a child. the other i told a co-worker that this was like my dream & then accounted everything that came true in the dream!
