I have two groups of people; group A and group B. I have a new drug for a disease. i'm giving the drug for all people in group A and a placebo for all people in group B. After 4 weeks, i ask each person how much better they feel (in percentage) compared to what they felt before the start of trial. Now i want to compare the data (in percentages) between the two groups, to see if the new drug is working or is it just as good as placebo.

i think u can average out the percentages for each group seperately so tht u get one avg. percentage for A and one for B. Now simply take the ratio of the two. If the ratio is 1 then both r roughly having the same effect.
