Hey sweet People out there! While responding to a discussion do you check whether the best response has already been marked or not? Do you tend to respond to those discussions where the best respond is not yet marked? Or are you equally contributing to the marked discussions as well?? HOnest ANswers... All will be ranked

I never paid attention to this matter because I think that there is no extra benefit for the users who get best response. But I think that many people pay attention to the same matter bcoz I have seen that the discussions I have got best response for have no more answers.

that is not always true. as long as people get answer the discussion, it is best not to pick best responce right away. wait for a while. to chose a best response.

If I feel I have something to contribute to a discussion, I would still respond whether it had already been marked best response or not. My comment could still be interesting to that member who posted. After all, we are all here to help each other, aren't we - not just to score points?

I donĀ“t check. Do you get paid more if you receive a best response?

Not always, If ever, in my opinion if the respond is good in relation the the topics or subjects, whether for or against I will act on the best respond.

I usually just make a response not noticing if there is a best response marked or not. I just like to put in my 2 cents regardless.

I don't check whether the best response has already been marked. I don't even know if I am contributing to the marked discussion...that really would be the decision of the one who started the discussion. I just answer according to how I feel or think. I answer as honestly and as spontaneously as I can --- no hold barred, so they say. And hey, hope you don't mind me sneaking on in here, hehe. I am just new to Mylot...this is my third day just yet and I am already quite hooked.

I respond to whom ever respond to me, sometimes if I see a discussion that I am interest in loke this one I will respond. it doesn't matter whether they have a best response or not.

dont care too much about the best response. only comment on the topics interested, and those not so complicated, and sometimes, those discussions started by friends.

Even if best response has been marked I love to give my contributions to a meaningful discussion. Most of the times I am answering a discussion it has more that 20 or so responses and already the initiator had given best response, sometimes I find that best response is the very first or second response only. Some of us rate the discussion very quickly without waiting for the best.

Personally I think once the Best Response is picked the discussion is over. I prefer to not answer to one of them once it is picked. Since I answer from email sometimes I find it has been picked once I have answered. So if that friend is picking it and within hours I tend to answer no more of their discussions for the day. Also that means I do not rate them a +. I check even if I respond. No plus for a Best Response picked discussion. Again I think they are done discussions and will avoid them if given a chance.

I don't care at all if the person I response had choose the -best response-. 1) because for I pick up the discussion this mean I like the topic(is not always easy to find topics you like so when happen don't lost it). 2)Anyway I earn money from responding. 3)None of us can be sure that will pick up them response for the best.....

I check for topics that interest me, and respond to them. There have been times when the best response has already been chosen and the last response was more than a couple of weeks old.

I respond to a question I find interesting, weather is is 2 minutes old or a month old. and I never look to see if the best responce has been given. For me it is the quality of the questions and if I feel that I can contribute an answer that would be of interest.

To be quite honest I don't even notice about the best response being selected already or not. I tend to look at my friends' discussions, then the discussions with no responses (as I know how it feels to start discussions with no responses BOOHOO) and check my discussions for responses and then look at other discussions. Some of the discussions with lots of responses already sort of put me off because the thought of having to read through all of the responses before posting mine is a bit daunting, I try to read all the responses before posting in case I end up writing the same or very similar response to someone else. If a best response has already been selected it shouldn't make any difference whether you choose to respond - if you have something valid to say, I'd say go for it :)
