myLot toolbar :)

I recently noticed the fact that a myLot toolbar exists (look in the page footer if you didn't know about it either :) ). My question is to those who installed it, is it as useful as they say it is? Because I don't know how much relevant information you can put in a toolbar. Did they put more than just what was the last interesting topic? Thank you in advance :)

I just noticed the same thing... that a myLot toolbar exists... and was about to post a question about it but decided to do a search first. There are at least ten discussions all asking the same thing! So I read a few... One such discussion has 10 responses, all to the effect of "MyLot has a toolbar? I did not know that." Only a few of the responders said they have downloaded it. Of these, some have said that it is useful to keep you informed of new discussions. Others have said it is only compatible with Internet Explorer. And yet others have said it causes problems with their computer... Several people want to know if downloading it will increase their earnings, but no one has answered that question one way or the other. Personally, I hide toolbars whenever possible to increase the viewing space on my screen, so for that reason alone won't be using it. Also, I run Firefox, not Internet Explorer. And I don't need to know the weather in Toronto (that's as local as it gets to me) every second. (That's one of the dubious benefits of having the myLot toolbar.)

Thank you for your detailed answer, it made me smile :) Everything you say it's true, I noticed it myself. Unfortunately I don't think that using the toolbar the earnings will increase, I'm sure that if it were so there would have been notices all over the download page. I like having as little toolbars as possible too so that's why I was wondering if installing it is really worth it or not. So far it seems like I'm better off without it but maybe in the future they'll add some improvements to it :)

Brilliant, but this download gives virus alert. I did not installed it. You can check if it runs fine at your site.
