Heres the deal, I updated hp with an ATI 9500 graphics card, it had a few problems where it would freeze during games. I foud a patch to fix it, then I installed a bilken wireless card and now my computer freezes randomly, it sometimes takes an hour sometimes it's 5 minutes. I haven't been able to use it for the past 2 months because of this, I was going to buy a new one, but I can't now. Right now I can't get it to stay on long enough to get any information off of it. Any ideas as to what might be going on?

Try to see if the card has been placed in the slot correctly, also, check if the internal fans are all working because PCs usually halt when the temperature is rather higher than usual. There should be proper ventilation. If this is all good, try updating the Windows installation as well as the latest driver for the Video card

The problem might be with wireless card drivers, they might be conflicting with the OS drivers.I will suggest uninstalling and then reinstalling the wireless card driver.

Thanks, I'll try doing that and see if it helps
