I was wondering if this could be done. i don't have an oven here, only a microwave oven. i did some research online and found some recipes. i was wondering though if it will turn out okay and like the real thing. has anybody tried it? how was it?

I personally have not, however, I recently went to a Pampered Chef party and the hostess did a cake with frosting and everything in the microwave that was out of this world. She used a box cake mix, but it was so moist and yummy. I have to give it a shot one day because I was super impressed. We have also tried the Betty Crocker single serve microwave cakes and they taste great...Good Luck !!

hmm, so it can be yummy. i'm excited! the recipes i saw online were all from scratch. i'm thinking it might be better to try it with a boxed cake mix first. or is that not a good idea since those are really for baking using the oven? i'll update you guys if ever i do this myself. would really like to try baking.

i learned baking back in high school. after that, never really tried baking again. i do want to try it out now. problem is no oven! only a microwave oven. i have seen pizza recipes online using the microwave. might try that soon. i'm not sure if a lot of people here know baking. i'm guessing only some know how to, since baking is something western. could be wrong though.
