Google in trouble?

Has anyone else noticed that Gmail and the Google search engine have been down an awful lot lately? I´m hoping they will fix whatever problems they are having, since that is my main work email! Right now, it just says "We are having technical difficulties", but not when they will be running properly again.
The search engine works sometimes, but when I really need it (to do article research) it seems to be down!

ya even im facing the same problem, gmail is not even opening...i didnt even get that "We are having technical difficulties"..

I have never had that problem - and I hope I never do. I got to have my email - it is where I make my money!!!
