Okay, so I am having a big chocolate brownie with icing for breakfast. Is that okay? Should I have something healthier? It is a REALLY good brownie!!

Oh brownies! They are soooo good, but I wouldn't recommend them for breakfast. At least not all by themselves. That is just wayyyy to much sugar first thing in the morning. However you can offset that by having some protein along with it. I was on this diet once and it said "sure go ahead and have a chocolate bar or dish of ice cream, but have a half cup of cottage cheese first." The theory is that the protein will lessen the impact of all that sugar hitting your system..

Protein is a good thing. I just really do not think that cottage cheese and brownies sound so good together...LOL

Sounds yummy. :-) Look at it this way; you have all day to burn off the calories from the sweets. And I think a person should have whatever they want for breakfast. My favorite breakfast is cold pizza and Pepsi. :-)
